Online Account Opening is the service provided by Agrobank for the customer who wishes to apply for the opening of deposit account via Online application
Eligibility
The Online Account Opening eligibility is as follows:
- You are a MALAYSIAN CITIZEN of age 18 years and above, you have a MyKad, and are ready for the eKYC process
- Own a Mobile Number and Active Email to receive important notifications
- You have an Active Internet Banking Account with another bank
- Non-Citizen/Non-Resident/Permanent Resident other than MyKad holder is not allowed to apply via the online application
Account
Type of Account offered as below:
Saving/Giro Account:
- AgroTani-i PLUS with minimum deposit of RM50.00
- Agro Perdana-i Statement (Qard) with a minimum deposit of RM100.00
- Term Deposit: Agro PrimaS Statement with a minimum deposit of RM500.00
- Joining of Sahabat Agro Membership need to open two (2) types of the account above
Initial deposit payment online required for opening of the above deposit account

- If this is your 1st time opening a savings account with a bank, please visit our nearest branch
- In the event you are requested to visit the branch for further verification, please bring your MyKad, payment receipt and utility bill (if address different from MyKad) for verification and account activation process.

- Fill-up the online application form and perform payment of an initial deposit. Print and Save Receipt.
- Scan the QR and access code to perform the Electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process for account opening. [User Guide]
