During the Agrobank Madani Scholarships Award Ceremony, The President/Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said, “Access to quality education plays a pivotal role in the economic development of a country. It nurtures knowledgeable, innovative, and technically skilled workforce capable of driving sustainable progress across all sectors. Education empowers individuals not only with theoretical understanding but also with practical skills essential for real-world challenges. Therefore, financial constraints should never become a barrier for the younger generations in pursuing their academic and career aspirations.”

“Therefore, the scholarship provided helps pave the way for students to overcome financial barriers, ensuring them to reach their full potential in achieving aspirations, regardless of their socioeconomic background. This initiative not only reflects the Bank’s commitment to corporate social responsibility but also serves as a strategic investment in the future. By nurturing a pipeline of promising individuals, it contributes to the development of high-performing talent who may eventually become part of the Bank’s Young Talent Program (YTP), to advance their leadership capabilities” he added.

“The Madani Agrobank Scholarships recipients present today include children of farmers and others from the B40 category. This effort aligns with the Bank’s mission to empower the needs of unserved and underserved communities. By investing in their education, it portrays the Bank’s dedication in supporting the communities that are often overlooked, ensuring that opportunities for advancement are no longer limited by geographic or financial constraints. This approach fosters a more inclusive and equitable society which in turn creates a lasting impact particularly on economic development.”

Agrobank remains committed to going beyond financial services by giving back to the community through initiatives that support students and individuals from diverse backgrounds. By empowering education, the Bank plays a vital role in shaping a future-ready generation and fostering talent for development across various sectors, particularly in agriculture and agrofood.
