PROGRAM AGRO – PINTAS

The PINTAS Program is a special financing initiative for micro small and medium enterprises to support the sustainability and security of the nation’s food supply. It focuses on innovation and new technology to enhance efficiency and agricultural productivity. This program is implemented through the Agrofood Financing Fund (DPA 2025) & Agrofood Value Chain Modernization Program (PMRNA 2025).

Shariah Concept

Tawarruq consists of two sale and purchase contracts. The first transaction involves the sale of commodities by the seller to the buyer on a deferred payment. Then, the buyer in the first sales transaction will sell the commodity to a third party in cash.

Financing Scope
• Prioritize the green economy and high-tech-based sectors in agriculture and food production.
• Encourage the use of agrotechnology such as mechanization, automation, precision farming, digital technologies (4IR), and green technology to boost productivity.

Financing Amount
• DPA 2025: Minimum: RM10,000
• PMRNA 2025: Maximum: RM5,000,000*

Financing Margin
• Up to 100% of the total investment cost

Facility Tenure
• Up to 10 Years (including 6 Months payment deferral)

Collateral
• No collateral required

Profit Rate*
• 3% per annum based on monthly balance

Eligibility

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) such as sole proprietorships or limited liability partnerships, or Sdn Bhd with 51% shares owned by Malaysian citizens
Applicants must be between 18 and 70 years of age at the time of application and when financing expires.
The entity is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), as well as with district offices in Sabah and Sarawak, and with statutory bodies or agencies approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM).
The applicant must not be blacklisted or involved in any criminal activities.
