Agrobank Allocates RM58,000 to Support SPM Intensive Tuition and Motivation Programme for Students in Alor Setar



Agrobank has allocated a total contribution of RM58,000 to five selected schools around Alor Setar to support the SPM Intensive Tuition and Motivation Programme, aimed at assisting students, particularly those from B40 households and paddy farming families.

According to President/Group Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank, Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin, “This contribution is part of Agrobank’s commitment to empowering the younger generation, especially the children of paddy farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs and the B40 community who are the backbone of the nation’s economic future.”

“Agrobank not only provides financing facilities to farmers and paddy growers but also places strong emphasis on the education of their children. Through access to quality education, we can ensure that no student is left behind, regardless of their socio-economic background. We are pleased to support 200 students through this programme with an allocation of RM58,000,” he added.

He further said, “The five selected schools for this programme are SMJK Keat Hwa, SMK Simpang Kuala, SMK Tajar, SMK St. Michael and SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman. The SPM Intensive Tuition Programme will run for 10 weeks, conducted every Saturday or Sunday at the respective schools.”

The SPM Intensive Tuition Programme is tailored to equip students with comprehensive preparation for the upcoming SPM examination while enhancing their academic achievement.

Through such continuous efforts, Agrobank hopes to nurture outstanding students who will contribute to national development and ensure a brighter future for the B40 community.
