Agrobank Wins Public Service Resilience Champion 2025 Award at AWS & GovInsider Public Sector Day Malaysia

Agrobank, Malaysia’s leading agricultural development bank, was recognized as the “Public Service Resilience Champion” at the AWS & GovInsider Public Sector Day Malaysia 2025. The award ceremony was presented at the Public Sector Day Malaysia Innovation Awards 2025, a key highlight of the event that took place on 15 April 2025 at Le Meridien Putrajaya.

The accolade celebrates Agrobank’s outstanding achievement in the procurement of public cloud infrastructure and platform services, demonstrating exceptional resilience and innovation in its adoption of cloud computing to better serve the national agricultural sector.

En. Mohamad Taufik Mahamad Zakaria, Chief Strategy Officer of Agrobank, proudly received the award on behalf of the organization. This recognition underscores Agrobank’s ambitious efforts in adopting, implementing and modernizing public cloud infrastructure platform. This infrastructure focuses on security, reliability and efficiency, while enabling cloud capabilities system integration and staff upskilling.

The strategic collaboration between Agrobank and AWS in public cloud adoption has paved the way for Agrobank to fast-track its new digital capabilities adoption such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI), Financial Super App, Digital Signature, Customer Data Platform, among others. AWS also continues to support Agrobank in its new digital capabilities adoption by providing cloud upskilling programs, technical advisory services and proof-of-concept (POC) credits.
