Agrobank today announced a six (6)-month moratorium to assist its existing customers nationwide who have been affected by the recent floods, particularly in Sabah.
This assistance includes a deferment of financing repayments for up to six (6) months for eligible Agrobank customers impacted by the disaster.
President/Group Chief Executive Officer of Agrobank, Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said, “We understand the difficulties faced by our customers following the recent floods. Agrobank remains proactive in extending targeted assistance to ease their burden, and we hope this moratorium will provide the necessary support during this challenging period.”
He added, “We have been informed that some customers have suffered damage to their properties, farms, and agricultural activities. These incidents have directly affected their income sources and business continuity.”
“Some customers may require temporary relief to focus on restoring their operations. Therefore, eligible customers are encouraged to apply for this moratorium facility to help rebuild their businesses. Our officers will also be reaching out to affected customers to assist them through this situation,” Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah explained.
