Agrobank announces new appointment of CFO and CHRO



KUALA LUMPUR – Agrobank, a government-owned agriculture-focused Islamic development bank today announced the appointment of Kamarul Azman Kamarozaman @ Amir as the new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of Agrobank and Mohamed Parrish Ersalle Abdul Hameed as the new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).  Both persons will be part of Agrobank’s senior management team and reporting to President/Chief Executive Officer (P/CEO) of Agrobank, Syed Alwi Mohamed Sultan.

Kamarul Azman is a Certified Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience working in various areas in finance, accounting, financial treasury, internal control and other corporate finance functions. Kamarul Azman holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accountancy Studies from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Prior to joining Agrobank, he held a number of senior positions such as Director, Head of Finance & Investment Operations for CIMB Principal Asset Management Berhad, UK Financial Controller for Skrill Limited, a digital e-Wallet payment solutions provider and various other stints with PwC UK, KPMG Europe, EY KL office and CIMB Bank London. Upon returning to Malaysia, Kamarul joined Agrobank on 5 June 2017 as Deputy CFO and appointed as the CFO, effective 1 January 2019.

Mohamed Parrish Ersalle joined Agrobank on 17 December 2018 as the Chief Human Resources Officer.

He is a seasoned human resources practitioner, with more than 27 years of experience in leadership, people development, organisational development, performance management, industrial and employee relations from various industries ranging from manufacturing, financial services, investment holding and property management.

Prior to joining Agrobank, he held a number of senior positions such as Group Head Human Resources for Sapura Resources Berhad, Chief Human Resource Officer for Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad and Group Head Human Resources Division for Allianz Malaysia Berhad to name a few.

Mohamed Parrish Ersalle holds a Degree in Business Administration (Honors) from the International Islamic University.
