Opening of Accounts

• Minimum RM10 (individual account)
• Minimum RM100 (joint account or non-individual account)

Eligibility

• Citizens of Malaysia and non-citizens residing in Malaysia
• Individuals aged 12 years and above.
• Organisations/associations incorporated and registered under Societies Act.Companies established under Societies Act.
• Companies which are established under Companies Act are not allowed to open accounts

Interest on Savings

• Up to RM2,000 - 0.5%
• RM2,001-RM5,000 - 0.5%
• RM5,001-RM20,000 - 1.00%
• RM20,001-RM50,000 - 1.25%
• RM50,001 and above - 1.50%

Interest Calculation Method

• Accrued interest on daily rest and to be credited monthly
